Pakistan Navy is part of the Defence Forces of Pakistan that is responsible for the defence of Maritime boundaries of Pakistan. It is a four dimensional force that operated below water, surface, aviation and coastal defence. Sailors are the non commissioned Naval Personnel that serve in different branches of Pakistan Navy. Age: 16-20 years

Gender: Only unmarried Male citizens of Pakistan.

Height & Weight:

Height:  5ft 4inches (162.5cm)

Weight: Weight should be according to BMI (Body Mass Index)

Educational Requirement:

Matric with minimum 65% marks is required to apply for Technical Sailor

Initial Test Pattern:

Initial Test of Pakistan Navy Technical Sailor consists of two portions

• Intelligence Portion
• Academic Portion

(1) Intelligence Portion:

100 MCQs in 40 minutes

Syllabus: Verbal & Non Verbal Intelligence 

(2) Academic Portion:

75 MCQs in 35 minutes

Syllabus:

• Chemistry

• General Knowledge

Medical Test:

These observations are made in the Medical Test of Technical Sailor PN.

Physical Test:

These tests are takein in the Physical Test of Technical Sailor, Pakistan Navy

• 1.6 km running in 08 minutes
• 15 Pushups in 02 miutes
• 15 situps in 02 minutes
• 2-4 Chinups in 02 minutes

Training & Rank:

Finally selected candidates report at Sailors Training Academy, PNS Himalaya in Karachi. 06 months boot camp training is conducted in the Academy.Then Candidates are sent to relevant training institutes/units for branch technical training. Upon successful completion of training,candidates are passed out as Tech-II (Ordinary Seaman)
