In this post, we will discuss the latest jobs announced in the National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA).

Introduction:

NACTA is a Federal Government Authority of Pakistan working under the Ministry of Interior. It was founded back in 2009. The main objective of this authority is to make counter terrorism and counter extremism policies. It also plans actions against terrorism and monitor their implementation.

Job Positions:

(1) Senior Data Scientist (Chief Technology Officer BPS-19)

Total Posts: 01

Education: 16-18 years education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related field from HEC recognized institutes.

Experience: 12 years post qualification experience in the relevant field.

Age: 45 years

Skills: Lead Tech Architecture, manage engineering teams, oversee infrastructure amd drive innovation across software and systems

(2) Senior Data Scientist (Chief Product Officer BPS-19):

Total Posts: 01

Education: 16-18 years education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related field from HEC recognized institutes.

Experience: 12 years post qualification experience in the relevant field.

Age: 45 years

Skills: Develop Product Strategy, manage lifecycle, align feature with organizational needs and lead/collaborate with cross-functional teams for delivery.

(3) Junior Data Scientist (Artificial Intelligence/ML Developer BPS-17):

Total Posts: 04

Education: 16 years of education im Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics or relevant field from HEC recognized institutes

Experience: 0-2 years relevant post qualification experience in the field.

Age: 35 years

Skills: Build AI/ML Models, Preprocess data, tune algorithms for AI-based operations.

(4) Junior Data Scientist (Data Engineer BPS-17):

Total Posts: 03

Education: 16 years of education im Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering or related field from any HEC recognized institute.

Experience: 0-2 years relevant post qualification experience in the field.

Age: 35 years

Skills: Build predictive models, analyze large datasets and present actionable insights using LLMs, chatbots etc.

(5) Junior Data Scientist (CyberSecurity Analyst BPS-17):

Total Posts: 03

Education: 16 years education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, Cyber Security or related fields from any HEC recognized institute.

Experience: 0-2 years relevant post qualification experience in the field.

Age: 35 years

Skills: Monitors Network Traffic and security events in real time, detecting, analyzing and responding to security incidents to protect against cyber threats and ensure continuous system integrity of AI systems.

Job Type:

Contract Basis (extendable on the basis of performance evaluation)

Important Instructions:

• The period of contract would be initially for the period of 06 months extendable on the basis of performance evaluation
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview
• Candidates will have to bring original documents (CNIC, Educational documents, Domicile and Experience certificates) at the time of interview
• No TA/DA will be allowed to appear in test.interview
• The candidates working in Public Sector departments/organizations will submit NOC to their parent department at the time of interview.
• Private candidates will submit experience certificates at the time of interview
• Finally selected candidates shall be offered contract appointment subject to security clearance from relevant authorities
