In this post we will discuss PMA Long Course completely!

Pakistan Military Academy PMA long course is the largest commission course of the Armed Forces of Pakistan. A batch of PMA Long Course consists of 550-600 cadets selected from all over Pakistan, Gilgit Baltistan and AJK.

Here we will discuss the complete eligibility criteria of PMA Long Course

Gender:     

Only Male (un-married) citizens of Pakistan, Gilgit Baltistan and AJK

Age:           

1. 17-22 years for civilian candidates (Relaxable for three months for both upper and lower limits)
2. 17-23 years for 2 years Graduate and serving soldiers of PAF and Pak Navy. ((Relaxable for three months for both upper and lower limits)
3. 17-24 years for 4 years Graduate (No age relaxation)
4. 17-25 years for serving Pak Army soldiers (No age relaxation)

Height:       

Minimum 162.5 cm or 5 feet 4 inches

Weight:      

Weight should be according to BMI (Body Mass Index)

Education: 

Intermediate ( F.A, F.Sc or equivalent) with 55% marks. Candidates who have passed their intermediate part-1 and are going to appear in part-2 can also apply by providing a Hope certificate pf 55% marks duly signed by the Head of the Institute. In this case they will have to submit the result card within one week of the announcement of board result. 

Note: Diploma holders are also eligible to apply in PMA Long Course

Training Period: 

2 years Military training at PMA Kakul. Cadets are commissioned as Second Lieutenant upon successful commission of training.
