In this post, we will discuss the latest jobs announced in the Pakistan Army for females.

Introduction:

AFNS (Armed Forces Nursing Services) is a regular commission course in the Pakistan Army for female candidates. This course is announced once every year.  The selected candidates undergo a 4 years B.Sc Nursing Degree at the designated Armed Forces Institutes.

Job Position:

AFNS ( Lieutenant upon completion of training)

Gender and Marital Status:

Gender: Only Female candidates are eligible to apply

Marital Status: Unmarried/Widow/Separated/ Divorce without encumbrances

Age, Weight and Height:

Age: 17-25 years as on 01 November 2025.

Weight: As per body mass index

Height: 5 feet ( 152.4 cm)

Educational Requirement:

• Matric with 60% marks.
• F.Sc (Pre-Medical) with 50% marks.
• Candidates who have passed F.Sc Part-1 with 50% marks and have appeared/appearing in F.Sc Part-2 exams can also apply by providing a Hope Certificate duly issued by the Head of the Institution.
• Candidates possessing foreign qualifications will have to obtain equivalence certificate and conversion of marks from Inter Board Coordination Committee, Ministry of Education Islamabad and attach it with application form.

Selection Process:

• Online Registration at www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk (30 June 2025 to 15 August 2025)
• Initial Computerized Screening Test (08 September 2025 to 10 October 2025 except Saturday, Sunday and closed holidays)
• Initial Medical Test
• Initial Interview
• GHQ selection board interview (Rawalpindi, Multan, Lahore, Peshawar, Karachi & Quetta)
• Final Selection
• Call up letters

Surety Bond:

Finally selected candidates will be required to sign a bond to serve in the Army for minimum period of 10 years. The applicability of bond will commence on completeion of BSN degree at respective CMHs.

Training:

Selected candidates will undergo 4 years B.Sc Nursing at the following military hospitals

• AFPGMI Rawalpindi
• CMH Lahore
• CMH Multan
• CMH Bahawalpur
• CMH Kharian
• CMH Quetta
• PNS Shifa Karachi

Rank:

Upon completion of B.Sc Nursing 4 years at military institute, candidates will be commissioned as Lieutenant in Pakistan Army.
