In this post, we will discuss the latest openings in Pakistan Marine Academy as Cadet.

Positions:

• Nautical (Deck) Caddet
• Marine Engineering Cadet

Age and Gender:

Gender: Unmarried Male citizens of Pakistan.

Age: 

• Not more than 20 years as on 31 December 2025.
• Not more than 21 years as on 31 December 2025 for FATA/AJK/Gilgit Baltistan/Balochistan applicants.

Education:

• Candidates must have passed F.Sc Pre-Engineering or A Level with subject combination (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) having atleast 55% marks.
• Candidates of O and A level must submit equivalence certificates along with application form
• F.Sc or O-level Part-2 appearing candidates who have passed Part-1 with atleast 60% marks can also apply by providing a Hope Certificate duly signed by the Head of Institute.

Selection Process:

• Entry Test will be conducted at Abbotabad, Gwadar, Multan, Karachi, Lahore, Muzaffarabad, Peshawar, Quetta, Rawalpindi, Sukkur through hired testing agencies.

• Minimum 50% marks are required to qualify the entrance test.

• Medical examination of the shortlisted candidates will be conducted at designated Army/Navy hospitals

• Final Interview and PET (Physical Efficiency Test) dates will be updated on PMA (Pakistan Marine Academy) website and same will also will be communicated to the candidates through SMS.

• Final Selection will be done in order of merit (F.Sc Marks, Entrance Test Marks, Medical, Physical Fitness and Final interview).

Physical Test Standards: 

Physical Test Standards are as follows:

• 1 mile running in 08 minutes
• 15 push-up repetitions in 02 minutes
• 15 sit-up repetitions in 02 minutes
• 02 chin-up repetitions in 02 minutes

Training/Certificates Award:

• 02 Years residential training will be conducted at PMA, Karachi
• Upon completion of training, award of Associate Degree in Nautical Science & Marine Engineering by NED University of Engineering & Technology.
• Certificates of International Maritime Organizations (IMO) recognized Pre-Sea mandatory courses.

• Prospectus and Application form can be downloaded from PMA (Pakistan Marine Academy) offical website: www.marineacademy.edu.pk. They are also available at PMA admission office.
• Submit Application form through courier services along with Pay order/ Bank Draft of Rs. 4000/- in favour of Pakistan Marine Academy, Karachi, National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) PMA Branch Code-0239 (PO/DD from any bank is acceptable).
• Last Date of Form Submission is 25th july 2025.
