In this post, we will discuss complete details of Technical Cadet Course.
Introduction:
TCC (Technical Cadet Course) is a regular commission course in Pakistan Army. It is announced once every year. Selected candidates study Engineering programs at NUST affiliated colleges. A batch of Technical Cadet Course consists of 150-180 Cadets.
Age:
17-21 Years ( Relaxable upto 3 months in both upper and lower age limit
Gender & Marital Status:
Only Male candidates are eligible to apply in Technical Cadet Course
Marital Status: Single
Height & Weight:
Minimum height of 162.5 cm (5ft 4 inches)
Weight should be as per BMI (Body Mass Index)
Educational Requirement:
- Matric Science or Equivalent with minimum 60% marks
- F.Sc Pre-Engineering with minimum 65 marks or A-Levels Passed with Math, Physics, Chemistry in grade 1-6/A-C
- Candidates with F.Sc/Equivalent qualification with combination of Math, Physics and Computer Science can apply in all engineering programs
- Candidates awaiting Part-2 result can apply on the basis of Part-1 result by providing a Hope Certificate of 65% marks duly signed by the Head of Institute.

Training Period & Rank:
After completing the concerned engineering degree from relevant college, cadets report at Pakistan Military Academy Kakul for military training. Training period at PMA for TCC is one year. Upon successful completion of training, cadets are passed out as captain from PMA.
